Dr. Charles Kattuah graduated from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in 1998 and was elected in the Tau Kappa Omega Dental Honor Society. He completed post-graduate training through the University of the Pacific’s Advanced Clinical Experience (ACE) residency in Union City, CA in 1999. Dr. Kattuah is a member of the American Dental Association and California Dental Association, and also serves on the board of the Butte-Sierra District Dental Society. Twice a year Dr. Kattuah travels to Ensenada, Mexico to volunteer with Nor-Cal clinic, an association of Rotary International, to treat people who do not have access to dental care. In his spare time Dr. Kattuah enjoys snow boarding, wake boarding, golf, and raising sheep.

Dr. Kattuah is committed to providing all of his patients with exceptional and painless dental care in a comfortable environment. Optimal oral health is important in maintaining overall health. Recent studies have shown that certain oral diseases can contribute to the risk of acquiring other systemic diseases or conditions such as diabetes, atherosclerosis, pancreatic cancer, heart disease and others. During your first visit Dr. Kattuah will perform a comprehensive examination. At this examination we will take a full mouth set of digital x-rays, assess your periodontal status, head and neck exam, oral cancer screening, oral hard and soft tissue assessment. All of the information that Dr. Kattuah gathers from this examination will be combined with information that you give to us regarding your needs, values, and expectations to present to you a plan that is best tailored to you. More complicated cases may require an extra visit for study models and photographs.
